Christmas Recap!

I want to start off this post by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday!
I know i am stuffed to the max with lasagna, keish, dips, and sweets :) I made lasagna for the second time this christmas and it turned out wonderful but as you can see from the picture there wasn't much left!

The best part of Christmas this year........

The first snow on Christmas in Georgia!!
We finally got our "White Christmas"

And while its cold and snowing outside we have been doing alot of game playing and present unwrapping!

I got a lot of great gifts this year two of them are my new favorite things. One is my new Chanel Perfume called Chance. Its so light and clean scented and a little goes a long way! Thanks to my honey for that one!

I never ever spend my christmas money on myself and i can't tell you why for the life of me but this year i was talking to R and he told me that this year i should try doing it since normally our christmas money goes to joint things that we both want. So thats what im doing and my first purchase would be my makeup tri fold case fount here. I must say ive only had it a few days but i couldn't live without it! It keeps everything neat and organized and i can see everything so no more fumbling around looking for this that or the other! Do you have any favorite gifts you've gotten?

Big Changes!

The current company R is driving for is not working out so well so now its back to werner. Now i know some are thinking thats not that big of a change but the BIG change is we might have to relocate to Chatanooga TN so R can get on the dedicated run. It wont happen just yet maybe not till end of feb/march of next year. We talked about different options of states and TN layed something on my heart and i have a really good feeling about this. Please keep us in your prayers as we go through this and ill update as soon as i know something more.

Tis The Season!

Its been a busy couple of days lately. Yesterday i went to the mall with my Aunt J and Mom to do a little bit of shopping. I finally fount the perfect winter coat that i absolutely adore at Rue 21 and my mom bought me an adorable pair of slippers! (All pictured below).

Today has been just as busy cleaning, food shopping and then coming home to make my homemade chocolate chip smores cookies for my little sister to take to school to give out to her friends as presents. I guess its a good thing i LOVE baking! 34 cookies & 18 candy canes later here is the finish product. I just love this time of year because the simplest things as cookies make the greatest gift.

I thought my little sister had left over Hershey bars from Halloween but she didn't so i included a picture with them and the recipe for those who want to make these yourselves!

Chocolate Chip Smores Cookies
INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 dash of cinnamon
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups miniature chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
2 Hershey bars

INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a medium bowl stir together the flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking soda, salt, and dash of cinnamon. In a second larger bowl beat together the butter, sugars, and vanilla extract until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Slowly beat in the flour mixture until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto a greased cookie sheet.

Bake for 7 minutes. While cookies are baking, coarsely chop the Hershey’s bars. Remove the cookies from the oven. Push 3 to 4 marshmallows and a few pieces of the chocolate into each cookie. Return to the oven and bake an additional 3-4 minutes until fully cooked. Remove from oven, and cool 3-4 minutes on cookie sheet, and then transfer cookies to a wire rack to finish cooling.

Lovely Sunday

Yesterday was one of the best days me and R have had in a long time. Although we didn't like the traffic or the crowded mall (we didn't think it would be that packed) we had a pretty good day. Today is just a relaxing day we started off the day by going to church (Ryan didn't go because of work) and then me and my mom headed to go to the grocery store to pick up some stuff before the bad weather hit. You can't really call it bad because im totally EXCITED about it because its SNOWING in GEORGIA! Its a big deal for us because it hardly ever snows here but when it does it snows! While we were at the grocery store(s) we picked up my sisters favorite cookie treat and now mine too :)

Also i did a little ebay shopping and i came across this adorable necklace i have been eyeballing for a little while now and it was on a buy it now for $2.25 and had 20 mins left so i finally decided to jump on it and buy it all together after shipping it cost me $4.20. I have bought one other necklace from here that i love!

I've become quite the ebay junky but when you find good deals like that and some of the others ive fount how can you not become one? Well im off to do some more ebaying, laundry and relaxing.
Enjoy Your Sunday!

What A Nice Surprise!

R is on his way home right now as i type this and will be home tomorrow morning and wont leave again till Tuesday! With that said all our Sunday plans are being moved to tomorrow with some additions added. So far our plan is lunch, getting my nails filled in (they desperately need it!), shopping at Rue 21 for a new winter jacket, picking up stockings at the mall, buying the rest of the Christmas gifts and coming back to wrap them all. Its going to be a busy but productive day for tomorrow. This year for the winter jacket im really liking the pea coat with a cute scarf and gloves...Im totally loving it.

Another thing im loving is this adorable Juicy inspired manicure :) thanks Jess for making me a juicy addict :D

Hope Everyone Has A Great Weekend!

Just Another Manic Friday!

This weekend is going to be a little different then what i planned. Since R is a truck driver his schedule is constantly changing so he wont be home until Sunday. With that said im going to spend today going to the gym with my mom and getting my evaluation done with the personal trainer (eeek im kinda nervous!), running a few errands and then coming home to relax and get some laundry done.

Saturday is another busy day its when my mom does most of her garage selling and cleaning the house so ill be helping out with a lot of that along with looking online for Christmas presents, gotta rack up the Ebates cash back! I'm still stuck on what to get R...hes given me a list its just so hard to choose!

Sunday oh how you cant get here fast enough! R will hopefully be home late Saturday night early Sunday morning so we can get a jump start on our Christmas shopping. After shopping we will probably grab some lunch/dinner (depending on how late we are out) at our favorite Mexican restaurant by my moms house. After we might go see a movie and then it will be time to wrap all the presents we got...this should be fun :)

Hope you enjoy your weekend!
